The 46th Annual Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival will kick off with a parade at 9 a.m. Saturday. Gates to the festival grounds, located at the community center at 126 Park Lane, open at 9:30 a.m. Activities return Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. and closing at 5 p.m. www.sneadsferryshrimpfestival.org
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 6-12. Children younger than 6 get in free. There will be wristbands sold for $10 for all-day access to rides.
They will have a large variety of seafood just in time for Shrimp Festival! Also, we will have a tent set up at the festival this year, Saturday & Sunday! Shrimp, Jumbo Sea Scallops, Handmade Crabcakes, Soft-Shell Crabs, Crabmeat, Grouper, Mahi, Snapper, Sea Bass, Flounder, Wahoo, Catfish & Tuna.
