One of the largest festival of its kind in the state, the NC 4th of July Festival includes a farmers’ market, art show, beach day, skateboard competition, concerts, shag contest, food concessions, activities for kids, arts & crafts, parade, car show, regatta, pro wrestling, and fireworks display.

 

Stars & Stripes at the Symphony

July 1

Hear your favorite patriotic music played by the NC Symphony in this musical tribute to America.

 

Fireworks by the Sea

July 3

Head to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk for a beachside Independence celebration, complete with live music and fireworks, Bring your beach chairs and grab spot on the beach or arrive early to set up at the gazebo.

 

Onslow County Freedom Festival

July 4

The freedom Festival will host live entertainment by beach music band The Tams. Fireworks begin at 9pm. There will also be amusement park rides, inflatables, and a petting zoo.

 

Camp Lejeune 4th of July Celebration

July 4

Daughter, the 2D Marine Division Rock Band and VETTED will perform. There will also be inflatables and children’s activities. Fireworks follow the performances.

 

Holly Ridge Liberty Fest

July 4

A concessions stand opens at the Municipal Park as part of the 4th of July Liberty Fest and Fireworks celebration. Live entertainment will be featured, followed by fireworks.

 

City of Wilmington 4th of July Celebration

Waterfront Park, Downtown Wilmington from 6-10pm

Admission: Free for spectators

Enjoy live entertainment, food vendors, and fireworks in historic downtown Wilmington. Fireworks display starts at 9:05pm.

 

Morehead City 4th of July Celebration

The Main Event Band will perform at 7pm. Fireworks will be across from the park at Sugarloaf Island at 9pm.

 

July 4th Firecracker Cruise

Enjoy a front row seat to the city fireworks on the beautiful Cape Fear River. This 90-minute cruise includes appetizers and patriotic dink specials.

 

July 4th Open House

Staff of the arts center will be in 1940’s era costumes, serving free coffee and doughnuts. Enjoy free swing dance lessons, a documentary film, WWII-priced sodas and old fashioned fun.
