NC Azalea Festival

Annual festival featuring live concerts, a street fair, garden party, pageantry, juried art show and sale, home and garden tours, afterparty, boxing tournament, coin show, gala, parade, shag contest, fireworks and more.

Carolina Pro-Am SUP Championship

Wrightsville Beach

South Lumina Ave & Nathan St, Wrightsville Beach, 28480


Two day stand up paddle surf event, drawing the world’s best professional and amateur paddle surfers offering a prize purse of $15,000. The pro division will earn qualifier series points toward the APP World Tour ranking.

Earth Day Festival

Middleton Park

This free event will teach all ages how to protect and take care of the planet. Area conservation groups will be on site as well as hands-on exhibits, displays, food and more.

Southport Spring Festival

Franklin Square Park

Festival featuring musical entertainment, handmade arts and crafts, children’s activities, food vendors and plant sales. There will also be a 5k on Saturday.

April 6

Reel Housewives  of Topsail Island Bike Ride

517 Roland Ave, Surf City, NC 28445


Annual bike ride to benefit local breast cancer patients and survivors. Registration is $25 and includes entry to all events and lunch. Afterparty will be held at Gilligan’s in Surf City. Route is approximately 26 miles and will start and end in Southside Park.

Easter Egg Scramble

Join Pender County Parks and Recreation and the town of Burgaw for a new Easter tradition hunting eggs at Pender Memorial Park.

Run for the Warriors

Riverwalk Crossing Park

Hope for the Warriors hosts a half marathon, 10K, 5K and 1st mile. Proceeds benefit service members and their families. Race series is open to civilians and military members and honors those in Iraq and Afghanistan and celebrates their strength and resolve.

Outdoor classes where children can learn through play. In a 10-week class, Tinkergarten Leader, Taylor Roth will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together.

Save the 22 Gala

Experience the roaring twenties for the annual gala and spread awareness to end veteran suicide. Includes entertainment and dinner. Proceeds benefit For the Fighters and Helping Veterans. Features raffle prizes, 50/50 auction and guest speakers.

Gala and Auction featuring food and drinks from The Chelsea, 300+  live and silent auction items, music and dancing. Proceeds benefit the Carter County Junior Livestock Show.

Easter Egg Hunt

Beaufort Historical Site

Annual Easter egg hunt on the Beaufort Historical Grounds for children ages 7 and younger. Features prizes, refreshments and an egg hunt with over 2,000 eggs. Event is free, just bring a basket.

Beaufort Wine & Food Festival

Various venues in Beaufort



Annual wine and food festival featuring an art unveiling, wine luncheon and dinners, artist reception and wine seminar, fashion show luncheon, tasting and auction, culinary village, historic wine walkabout, throwdown and  champagne brunch.
