In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Old Bridge and Tender House moving to its new location, Ingram Planetarium is featuring “The Heartbeat of Sunset Beach”. It is a short film that documents the Old Bridge to Sunset Beach and its residents, businesses, government, former bridge tenders, and history.

Taste of Calabash

Join the town of Calabash to experience the natural resources it has to offer! Now the Seafood Capital of the World, it was once known as Pea Landing, a quaint fishing village. After restaurants began popping up serving their special Calabash Seafood, a new and delicious style of food was born. Enjoy a town-wide treasure hunt for prizes such as restaurant gift cards. Enjoy live music by the Coastal Harmonizers, arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities, face painting, corn hole, and fun for the whole family.

Days at the Dock Festival
April 23rd & 24th, Saturday 9-5pm Sunday 9-4pm
Where: Jordan Blvd, Holden Beach (Under Holden Beach Bridge)
Days at the Docks is the Holden Beach way to kick off the Spring and start the vacation season. Over 30 arts & crafts vendors and a dozen food vendors set up for a day of fun. In addition to the food and crafts, enjoy live music & entertainment, a horseshoe tournament and the world famous “Bopple Race.” Lots of activities for the entire family. Saturday’s entertainment features The Imitations at 10 am. The Cardboard Box Paddle Race is on Saturday and the Bopple Race is on Sunday.
