New Hanover County:

City of Wilmington 4th of July Celebration

Downtown Wilmington from 6:00 – 9:30 PM

The City of Wilmington 4th of July Celebration features live music by Port City Shakedown and food vendors, plus a fireworks display launched from a barge in the Cape Fear River at 9:05pm

Family Night at the Boardwalk

Carolina Beach Boardwalk from 6:30 – 8:30 pm

HAPPY 4th OF JULY! Family Night at the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach, features a bounce house, activities for kids, raffles, and live entertainment by the Broccoli Brothers Circus.

 

Brunswick County:

North Carolina 4th of July Festival

Southport Waterfront from 10:00 – 9:00 pm

The North Carolina 4th of July Festival in Southport is one of the largest festivals of its kind in the state and includes a Farmers’ Market, art show, beach day, skateboard competition, concerts, shag contest, food concessions, activities for kids, arts & crafts, parade, car show, regatta, pro wrestling, and culminates with a huge fireworks display at 9pm.

Calabash Fireworks

Calabash Waterfront from 6:00 – 10:00 pm

Celebrate Independence Day in Calabash with a fireworks show on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017. Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. on the waterfront next to Captain John’s Seafood House. Raffle tickets are being sold for a chance to win a custom, street-legal golf cart and the winner will be announced at this event. The DJ will be Calabash Fire Department’s very own Jimmy “Two Wraps” Bruno! Enjoy lots of fun activities for everyone, including a dunking booth for all and a bouncy house for kids. Hotdogs, ice cream and Sunset Slushies will be available for purchase. Fireworks will begin about 9:15 p.m.

 

Old Bridge Parade and Celebration

Sunset Beach Swing Bridge at 9:00 am

Annual Independence Day festivities begin with a parade at 9:00 a.m. for a march across the Old Bridge to the sounds of patriotic music. Old fashioned games and activities, along with light refreshments, will follow.

 

Onslow County:

Freedom Festival

Onslow Pines Park from 3:00 – 10:00 pm

Enjoy a great family festival Tuesday July 4, 2017 at the 34 Annual Onslow County Parks and Recreation Fourth of July Freedom Festival! Held at Onslow Pines Park, the event offers games, food, rides, face painting and vendors. Guests will enjoy the very best in musical entertainment with headliner performances by The Embers 5pm – 9pm and to round out the event, a spectacular Patriotic Fireworks Display will begin at 9pm.

 

Liberty Festival

Holly Ridge Municipal Park from 3:00 – 10:00 pm

The Liberty Festival at the Municipal Park in Holly Ridge, NC, features live music with The Carolina Band, festival food, and more than 40 vendors displaying unique crafts/retail. Fireworks begin at 9pm. Coolers permitted, but no alcohol. Service dogs only.
