The Wilmington Symphony presents their 22nd Annual Golf Classic. The tournament format is best ball. Breakfast and registration start at 7am. Proceeds benefit the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra and its youth education programs.

 

March 16th

20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade begins at Front Street and Red Cross and features live Irish music, traditional dance performances, food, beverages and crafts for purchase. Cape Fear First Responders will be the Grand Marshals and NourishNC is the parade charity.

Mardi Gras by the Sea Parade & Festival

The parade begins at 1pm, starting at SE 63rd Street and ends at SE 46th Street. Includes food and entertainment.

Festival goers will have the opportunity to learn about different cultures that reside in and around our county. The festival includes ethnic food, numerous cultural performing artists, activities for children, displays, diversity workshops, dance demos, and exhibits.

The central events of the weekend include a reception at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center, dinner at the Surf City Community center, annual membership meeting, sunset hike of the new Surf City Bridge and a full schedule of excursions and service opportunities to enjoy outdoors.
