Publix grocery store is coming to Carolina Beach, the grand opening set for Wednesday, June 26th. The new store will open at 7am at Publix Commons at Federal Point, located at 1018 Lake Park Boulevard. The store itself will be more than 50,000 sq.ft. (making it the largest Public store yet to open in southeastern North Carolina) with additional retail buildings near the site. This will be the 6th Publix to open in southeastern North Carolina since 2016. Other Publix locations include Surf City, Ogden, Ocean Isle Beach, Wilmington and Jacksonville.
