Bellamy Birthday Bash

Bellamy Mansion celebrates their 25th year with music, dancing, party games, a phot booth, silent auction and birthday cake.



September 20th-21st

Carolina Beach Dragon Boat Regatta & Festival

216 Canal Drive, Carolina Beach, NC



The festival kicks off Friday night at 6pm with an outdoor concert offering food and drinks for sale. Saturday is race day from 9am-5pm with local teams of 20 competing on 45-ft boats for the title of 2019 Carolina Beach Dragon Boat Champion.

Brunswick County Health Services hosts a community event promoting family fun and wellness. The event features children’s fun stations, splash zone, waterslide, blender bikes, cornhole, cardio, dance, photo booths, soccer and basketball.

Leland Founders’ Day Festival

The town of Leland celebrates it’s birthday with a community festival featuring live music, food trucks, arts and crafts, business vendors and fireworks.

Poplar Grove Farmers’ Market

Poplar Grove Plantation

Local growers and producers selling their goods directly to consumers. You’ll find fresh produce, landscaping and bedding plants, herbs, scented salves and oils, baked goods, handmade soaps, wood products, jewelry, and home and garden accessories.

New & Full Moon Paranormal Ghost Tours

Poplar Grove Plantation

10200 US Highway 17 N, Wilmington, NC



Join Poplar Grove for a guided tour through the Manor House and extend beyond the back courtyard to the tenant house and cemetery for possible paranormal activities. Deceased members of the Foy family household still make their presence known in particular rooms of the house and there are lots of stories to share of them over the years.

First Brigade Invitational Golf Tournament

Jacksonville Country Club

Event will begin with registration at 11am and lunch at noon. Tournament play is “Captain’s Choice.” A kickoff party will be held on Thursday featuring music from Freeway. Proceeds benefit the Brigade Boys & Girls Club.

Cancer Survivor Fashion Show

4040 Hunters Trail, Jacksonville, NC


The Ida Mae Cancer Center hosts a red carpet fashion show for cancer survivors with survivors modeling and all proceeds supporting cancer wellness therapy programs. There will be live music, DJ prizes, and free food.

Glow Down at Lawson Creek

Lawsons Creek Park

Intergenerational and interactive dance party, fun for all ages. Wear your glow-in-the-dark gear as there will be black lights and laser lights. Includes music from all decades, a foam machine, an epic water war and splash zone.

Lanterns on the Lawn

Tryon Palace South Lawn

Bring your camping gear and family for a campout on the Tryon Palace lawn to benefit the Tryon Palace Foundation. Campers can reserve 15-ft square plots for a campsite for the evening beginning at 2pm. The palace gardens and shop will remain open until dusk. Saturday evening activities include crafts, lawn games, dinner buffet of hamburgers and hotdogs, s’mores, a campfire sing-a-long, and a moonlit scavenger hunt with glowsticks. Sunday morning includes breakfast followed by a fmily yoga session.
