Celebrated every year on the first weekend of October, the Wilmington Riverfest draws nearly a quarter of a million visitors each year. Located along the Cape Fear River waterfront, the family-friendly event includes a street fair with local arts and crafts exhibitors, live concerts, food vendors, antique car show, classic car show, a children’s play area and a fireworks display on Saturday night. The 3rd Annual Miss Riverfest will also be named and featured throughout the event.
